hmm... was reading in the Old Testament this morning, found something odd...

Also, thou son of man, thus saith the Lord God unto the land of Israel; An end, the end is come upon the four corners of the land.
Now is the end come upon thee...

An end is come, the end is come: it watcheth for thee; behold, it is come.

The morning is come unto thee, O thou that dwellest in the land: the time is come

      Ezekiel 7:2-3,6-7

haha

Well, yes this is my last email in the mission, I really dont feel any different in terms of the knowledge of going home.  Just hasnt hit yet.  After all that the mission has taught me, the greatest has to be the amount of love that God has for all of His children.  I know that He loves me.  He loves you.  I know He does.  Even though there are mistakes we make, heartaches we feel, incorrect choices we make, He will never stop loving us.  He waits for us to come back home to Him.

And we can be forgiven and have claim to mercy because of Jesus Christ.
I know the gospel blesses families.  It has greatly blessed mine, both my current family and as well my future family.  I will never leave Him again, nor my Savior.  As the hymn says, so do I say :

That soul that on Jesus hath leaned for repose
I will not, I cannot desert to His foes
That soul, though all hell shall endeavour to shake,
I'll never, no never, no never forsake

April 17, 2017

Hello everyone,

I know that it has been some time that I have written a letter to everyone, don't worry, I'm still alive and going strong, and loving every day that I have to help as many people as i can.  We had a great weekend and Sabbath day yesterday, remembering the Savior's great triumph over death and promising us the guarantee that we will live again as we do now, but in our immortal bodies.

I have had a humbling and rewarding week after little trials of faith and spiritual growing.  Lost my sd card and so i was prepared to have accepted the loss of nearly 7 months of pictures but thank goodness it was found again by the librarians so I'm really greatful.  As well, just been reengaging in meaningful study of Preach My Gospel and really feel the power of the Holy Ghost as I read and get lost in reading the Words of God.  Weve started up sports night with our ward again every Friday, helping grow their unity and Ill have pics next week of that.  Have to go but love you and keep working hard in your lives to choose the right things.

Hello everyone!  How goes your week?

This last week has bee great, We had a great zone conference with President Torres where we received good instruction on teaching the greatest message that we have better.  As well, on Thrusday, all of us missionaries here in Brownsville zone came to Los Fresnos to do what is called a "blitz" where multiple missionaries go to one area to proselyte and find people for a few hours.   It was alot of fun as there was alot more power that we could feel that day here in this little town.

Yesterday the other elders that we live with had a baptism with a family that they had been working with for a few months now, and it was a priveledge when one of them asked me to baptize them, wasnt expecting it, but humbly accepted.  Its been a great week, these boys that are in the picture have felt that love of their Heavenly Father and have chosen to take upon them the name of Christ to make that first special promise with Him.

Everything is going great, just continuing to go forward.  Have a great week everyone!

Hello everyone!

So again, I have no idea why these computers at the Brownsville library but we might be able to go to another later today for pictures.

I wont be long today, ha  but I just want to share of something that I came to realize and understand better yesterday during studying the Doctrine and Covenants and I came across DC 45:3-5   I realized that us repenting is not enough to be saved.  There is still the matter of actual price to pay for our sins and mistakes.  I already knew these things but it never clicked entirely of the depth of love Christ has for us, to have given His life, His blood for us.  It is the fact that Christ will plead to the Father and call attention to His own perfection rather than our having strived as best as we can and Him saying that we have kept His commandments and become His brother.  I don't know if you would understand where Im trying to go but He will plead on our behalf to spare us the punishment because He paid that price already and as long as we keep the commandments faithfully, with no splitting hairs in them, and abiding the laws we enter into with God, we will have been saved.  Now I can understand a little more about how much He loves me and all of you and wants you to keep staying close to Him.

Love you everyone!  keep safe and make good choices always!
