Elders Holland and Robbins!!!
Hello Everyone!!

Wow, this week has had a great start.  We had a visitor come to the mission, two actually!  Both Elder Lynn G Robbins of the Presidency of the Seventy and .........Elder Jeffery R Holland!! of the Twelve came to speak to us!  The moment he walked in the room, we knew instantly by the power of the Spirit that he is a true Apostle called and ordained of the Lord Jesus Christ.

I loved their messages.  These things come directly from the Lord.  First was Elder Robbins talking to us about the Attributes of Christ and what are things we really see and love about President and Sister Maluenda, our mission president.  While all these things of our gratitude to them are being conveyed, he instructed us that the greatest tribute that we can pay to them is by first living these things we see in them for ourselves and the second is to immediately show this kind of loyalty and support to our new president and his wife when they come in two months.

Which was a perfect lead up into Holland's address.  One thing he is very well known for is the significance of his mission to him and how this is a strong priviledge.  If he is unable to live emotionally to a missionary who comes home and turns their back on everything that they have testified to and all the lives they have blessed, then it is as if the Savior is unable to bear that horrible realization.  All those who have returned home after a full time 2 year mission, how can you do all that what you did or do and then come home to fall away back into your old habits or turn your back on the gospel or not live up to the covenants you have made?? I say it to you as well.  Please, dont ever leave.  Stay where there is safety, peace and the blessings.  It was a powerful message and has all validity attached to it.  En verdad, how can someone just leave?  It was a strong "how dare you" message.

On a lighter note, it turned into how the Spirit is the only way to Preach His Gospel.  You cannot represent the Savior without Him.

The Holy Ghost is the third member of the Godhead, in essence a god who has no physical body but is always in the presence of our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ.  We are not doing this great work right if the Spirit is not present.  On top of that, he feels that we are not desiring to have the Spirit with us enough.  I wonder if that is the same for all of us.  Are we praying to have the companionship of the Holy Ghost with all our souls and heart?  just as the people in the Book of Mormon, when Christ was suppose to come back to teach them more and He hadnt come yet, they prayed hard for the NEXT BEST THING:  the Holy Ghost.

This is the Lord's true church, with all the correct authority and power from heaven.  He governs all that happens within for the salvation of all of us as God's children.  No one who truly loves God with all their hearts and their fellow men would ever think or postulate to turn their backs and if they have, my heart aches so much.  Which is funny because I am a little sick right now today and Im having body aches and stomach issues.  But dont worry, Adversity is a blessing.  A chance to prove ourselves to our Father in Heaven that we are worthy of His blessings.  He does live, and our Savior Jesus Christ has risen and will come again to the earth to usher in the Millenium.  Where will you choose to be when that "great anddreadful day of the Lord" arrives?

Hello everyone!

Im sorry that i didnt get a letter out last week.  Its really weird but time really does go by real quick as long as you choose the right decisions.  But transfers are tomorrow and I dont know yet if Im staying or changing so we will see!

Texas is entering its super hot and humid season instead of just normal hot and humid season. haha  I take a shower on Monday and by Friday Im still not dry. Ha   But that doesnt matter.  The work of the Lord will always go forth by His command.

I just keep thinking about our path that we have chosen to follow in our lives and whether we know we are on the right one or not?  All that we do here in our lives really does affect how comfortable we will be in the presence of God our Father.  Did we keep doing stupid things, or did we use the Atonement of Christ to do better and thank him with all our souls for Him?  I almost feel like that when we dont follow His commandments, or rebel against them, then we are freely and unwisely giving away our eternal life promise and denying the Savior and His loving sacrifice.  Following the commandments is the most intelligent thing to do.  They will protect us from our second death, that being spiritual.  I know this is not what any one of us wants to do.  Therefore, choose wisely.  I feel so happy being here where Christ needs us to find His lost sheep, teach them about their Heavenly Father and help guide them home!  I know that Jesus Christ is mighty to save and will lovingly do so if we are humble and come unto Him fully.

I love all of you and wish you the best in your daily efforts.  But first please thank your Father in Heaven every day for the knowledge of His Great Plan of Salvation and the way to return  home                                                                                     Happiness
                                                                                                         Redemption
                                                                                                         Mercy
                                                                                                         Restoration(Justice)
Until next week!

Good Afternooooooooooon everyone and I come to you through these little black things on your screen called letters and words but through them, I hope to always share with you the things that are put into my heart by the Spirit of God.  I hope that you all are doing awesome and that life is giving you so many things to be thankful for, to enjoy, and to love the Lord.

General Conference was amazing!  Well, when is it not really?  But very uplifting, and motivating to actually do the things we are instructed to from heaven.  Its's very simple..Everlasting eternal happiness?..or temporary, worldy, non progressing happiness(if it is such a thing). But whatever you choose, Heavenly Father still and always loves you. The messages were clear, simple and beautiful.  The Savior lives, wants to lift and help.  Prepare for that great and dreadful day, but what a glorious one it will be, as it is described in the scriptures.

Mission, TX has been awesome!  Learned the area pretty fast, and still getting to know the new ward, well new to me anyway.  Healthy, doing great and surviving the weather.  Too much food to eat! ha!

Hello everyone!

Sorry I havent gotten a letter last week!  Basically some plans came up and surprised us and changed alot of our day last Monday  but this one is going to be short but it has been something I have been studying this last week.  In all things in our lives, our Heavenly Father knows each of our hearts and tendencies but most of all when and how we learn things best where we actually pay attention and learn.  But being patient in all things really helps us to remember that we are not our own.  We are on borrowed time for the purpose of not wasting our time on earth.  But in all things, the best gifts sometimes are the unanswered prayers because then that is a test we are asked to go through and endure.  In the midst of every trial of waiting, we are growing, our anxiousness dies and the faith we have turns into certainty and confidence in the Lord.  There is an awesome Mormon message I would love everyone to see if they havent already and if they have, then great!  Do it again   But President Uchtdorf can explain it better than I can.  I promise the blessings he says that come from having patience are true.  One of the requirements for being able to live with Heavenly Father again is to become like is Son.  Mosiah 3:19btw   but here is the link to the video.  I love you all   Ill see you next week..wait  i mean Ill write next week    Ill see you next year  haha    and btw I havent sent any pictures because I unfortunately dont have a camera cord that works and so none for a little while but im trying real hard to get one again
